They say that we evolve from monkeys well I think my kids really did.

Yes Kanon is in his underware that is the favorite outfit for my boys. (Did we all do that as kids or is this just a boy thing? I don't know, when do we become so consciences about our bodies and want to cover from head to toe.)

Our new president

Last night I had the news on and Obama came on and Kanon said look mom there is our new president "Boboma". Good way to sum it up Kanon.

Bubbles, Bubbles and more Bubbles

This is what happens when you leave a couple of curious boys alone in a jetted tub with the bubbles close by. At first I wanted to get made but decided I had to laugh instead.

Daxton was a vampire, Kanon was suppose to be a devil but changed his mind before Halloween and wanted to be batman and Kaysen made up his own costume and called himself an it.

We went to scouts last night and the boys got to decorate pumpkins, you definitely will not find two of a kind of these ones.

Helmets

Well you that really know me and have been around me know that I do not let my kids ride without a helmet, and for the most part they are really good about wearing it. Sometimes I still have to remind them but they do pretty good. Why I am so set on the helmet thing I really don't know maybe because they are boys and very active, because I didn't wear them when I was younger and I am fine (I know some might argue), but today proved my point. Daxton decided not to wear his and look what happened. See mom's do know best!

Put away the coats

Well it is warm again ya break the shorts out again and put away the coats. That is exactly what Daxton did today he was back to wearing his shorts and tee shirts and Kanon played in the water (I know not warm enough but he insisted and how can you say no to that cute little face) . To bad it isn't going to stay but at least we can enjoy it for the weekend.

First Snow Fall

We woke up yesterday and we had our first snowfall isn't it just the first of October I hope this doesn't mean a long winter. I don't know that I am ready for this. The boys haven't put the shorts away I guess its time to break out the boots, coats and gloves ah. And I still need to clean out the garden which would of been done by now but someone told me we have plenty of time (thanks Babe) so much still to do. Thank goodness it didn't stick and the sun is shinning today.

Our Trip to Georgia and Tennessee

Well I know it has been a while since I have been on just have been really busy and not alot of time. Well we just returned from Georgia and Tennessee. Komatsu Equipment took Bracken and I along with 50 other people to see how they make their equipment and we had the opportunity to run the equipment. Our trip didn't start out the best. Our alarm was suppose to go off at 3:00 a.m. which it didn't because someone had messed with the am and pm so we woke up at 4:00 and we had to be out the door by 4:15 to catch our flight. Then when we were flying into Atlanta it was storming so bad that we had really bad turbulence so half the plane was sick (along with myself) we ended up landing in Tennessee to refuel and wait the storm our and then headed back to Atlanta. After the first few mishaps our trip was awesome. We ate so good that I gained 5 pounds. (Back to exercising)

Check out the size of this equipment I actually operated all of it and didn't do to bad. Just like a little kid playing in the dirt.

We then went to the Chickamauga Battle Field Visitor Center. The guns were amazing.

Our last night there we went to the Country Music Hall of Fame and The Grand Ole Opry and for those of you that know Bracken he is not a country fan at all but he really enjoyed it. We stayed at the Opry Land Hotel for those of you that have never been there it was wonderful. they have 9 acres of gardens and river that flow indoors. We have not been so pampered it was wonderful to have a trip that was all planned.

Bracken was trying to dump some sand and well it stuck and the enddump tipped over which he was lucky it broke away from the truck as it was tipping and the truck fell back up right. He will tell you he wasn't scared but I think he is just being tuff. Who couldn't be scared if you are tipping over sideways.

Finally a Horse Ride

You would think with all the horses we have that we would ride more. The boys are always asking us why we don't go on their horse rides with them, and we always have an excuse (not good I know) but thanks to Daxton we finally had a family horse ride and it was really fun.

The boys raced in the Top of Utah Championship and did quit well. Check our their trophy's they won. They are bigger then them. Way to go Boys!!

Kanon started school

Well Kanon started school yesterday. I was a little sad he didn't want me to walk him in which was a big change from last year he cried to be away from me every time I dropped him, at least I felt like he still needed me. He is just growing up to fast and I don't know what I am going to do with myself. The next time I turn around my kids will be moving out. My how time flies. Doesn't he look so grown up and cute! I have a plack hanging on my wall and I love the saying it says:

"Enjoy the little things in life for one day you will look back and realize they were the big things"

Tweve years and still going!!

Seventeen years ago I met this cowboy while dragging main (yes that was then in thing back then) whom I said I would marry someday. Five years later we were finally married (what took you so long). This weekend we celebrated our 12th anniversary. I won't say that it has been twelve perfect years (but who can) but we have had some wonderful times together. I am married to a wonderful man and father to our children, he cherishes his kids and works very had to provide and take care of our family. Thank you for being such a great dad and husband, I couldn't ask for a better man.

Today we caught butterflies, caterpillars and grasshoppers and put them in a jar I don't think they will last long kanon filled the jar half full of water so they could have a drink and swim. He so cute! He checks on them all day to make sure they are doing ok.

Kanon got up this morning 1st thing he said to me was:

Kanon: "Where are the boys?"

Me: "They went to school"

Kanon "Then were is your phone?"

Me: "In my pocket"

Kanon: "I need it "

Me: "Why"

Kanon: "So I can call dad and go to work with him"


So he took the phone and called his dad and told him to come and pick him up. wow 4 years old and he is pretty good at calling thoes he wants to talk to on the phone.

And that was all he wanted me for. So he headed off to get ready to go to work.

Back to School

Well today the boys went back to school. I am actually sad I have really enjoyed them being home and doing things with them. I feel like the summer flew by and we still had alot we wanted to do. They were excited they wanted to see their friends that they have not seen all summer. (I don't blame them) I thought now that they are in school I would do some catch up well Kanon see's things a different way he decided he now has me all to himself. Thats ok.

We had our 2nd to last final race for our series this weekend and they all did awesome. It is a little sad to think the summer has flown by that fast it seems like we just started for the year and now it is over, and they have improved so mush. Bracken had to switch classes he couldn't stand not being able to jump any longer. It makes me a little nervous watching him and wondering if he is going to crash (so far so good nothing major). The boys have done awesome this year Daxton is sitting 1st in his class and Kaysen is sitting 2nd in one class and 3rd in the other. Way to go boys!!!

Daxton Turns 7

Daxton had his 7th birthday up Cub River at his Grandma's lot. We had alot of fun. We floated down the river on tubes. Bracken didn't think that was to fun he kept hitting rocks and he fell in I guess I don't blame him. The boys also were fishing and Daxton actually caught one that made his day. His uncle Tyler cooked it up for him but he didn't really care for it so Kaysen ate it. Daxton has grown into such a lovable child he has a smile that is always there and he is always willing to help out if he can. (There still is that mean streak now and then don't get me wrong) We love him very much.

Kaysen always made it down way before everyone else I guess it helps being lite.


Daxton and grandma Syndee they weren't able to make it to his birthday party but came over before, he couldn't understand why they still couldn't come for cake and icecream.

I made him a spaceship cake for his birthday and I thought it turned out pretty good well on the way to the canyon I guess it got a little warm cuz when we got up there all the frosting had slide off the cake. O-well it was still good.

Jet Skiing at Bear Lake

We all went to bear lake and rode jet ski's. We had a really fun time. Our kids our speed demons ( I wonder were they get that from). It was cloudy when we got there and right after we turned the jet ski's back it started pouring on us so we sat under the awning and waited the rain out. It was still a good time.
